Funeral services, Assembly of God Church, Chiloquin, Friday, July 14 at 1:30 p.m., Rev. and Mrs. William Rentz officiating. Concluding services and vault interment in Wilson Cemetery. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evening Herald October 11, 1935 Roberta (Babe) Wilson passed away at the Klamath Agency on Friday, Oct. 11 at 3:40 a.m., following a lingering illness. The deceased was born at Beatty and was aged 16 years, 10 months and 29 days when called. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wilson; sisters, Florine and Lorraine; brothers, Roy, Ronald, Milford and Marlin, all of Sprague River; grandfathers, Watson Duffy of Beatty, and Hedrick Wilson of Gold Beach. ------------------------ Evening Herald October 12, 1935 The funeral service for the late Roberta (Babe) Wilson will take place from the Methodist Church in Beatty, on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. The Rev. B.V. Bradshaw will officiate. He is survived by his wife, Teddy Ann Wilson, Powell, Wyo.; ex-wife, Millie Wilson, Klamath Falls; son, Sut Wilson, Warm Springs, Ore.; daughters, Lorrene Smith and Ronna Kay Wilson, both of Warm Springs; father, Roy Wilson, Prineville, Ore.; mother, Esther Wilson, Sprague River, Ore.; brother, Marlin Wilson, Sprague River; sisters, Lorraine McWilliams, Klamath Falls, Floreine Thrasher, Prineville; granddaughter, Ramona Smith, Warm Springs; step grandson, Alvis Smith III, Warm Springs; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday March 17 at 10 a.m. in O'Hair's Chapel, and at 2 p.m. in the Friends Church, Sprague River. Concluding services will follow at the Chief Schonchin Cemetery. He was one of the first members of the Organization of the Forgotten Americans. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Klamath Republican February 1, 1912 CINDA WILSON IS CALLED BEYOND Captain O.C. Applegate has received word by phone from Charley Faithful, one of his old Modoc scouts, that his daughter, Cinda Wilson, died at the family home above Yainax at 10 a.m. Tuesday, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Wilson was an Indian woman of rare intelligence, and was last an employe in the Indian School Service at Klamath Agency, and her many friends of both races will miss her. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evening Herald January 21, 1918 INDIAN BABY PASSES Henry Ashurst Wilson, the six month old child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilson of the Klamath Reservation, died following an attack of pneumonia, the funeral services being held yesterday afternoon. Mr. Wilson is one of the well known and educated Indians of the Klamath Reservation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Klamath News December 21, 1926 Joseph Wilson, well known rancher of the northern end of the county, passed away in this city at an early hour last evening, following a brief, but severe attack of pneumonia. ------------------------- Klamath News December 22, 1926 Funeral services for Joseph Wilson who passed to his reward in this city Monday evening, will be held at the Williamson River Methodist Church this morning at 10 a.m., Rev. Poindexter officiating. Deceased is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Wilson; father of Joseph Wilson Jr.; brother of Finley and Virgil Wilson and Mrs. Blanche Jones. Wilson, a lifelong resident of Chiloquin, passed away at the Klamath Agency on Wed., March 22. The deceased was aged 56 years, 9 months and 7 days when called. He is survived by his wife, Pearl; sons, Woodrow and Mina; sister, Eliza Long. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Herald and News April 20, 1975 ROY WILSON, FORMER RESIDENT Roy Wilson, former Klamath Falls resident for many years, died Thursday in Prineville. Mr. Wilson was born February 11, 1897 at Gold Beach. He is survived by two daughters, Florine Thrasher, Prineville, and Lorraine McWilliams, Klamath Falls; and a son, Marlon Wilson, Sprague River; also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
