    3. Klamath Republican Klamath Falls, Oregon January 26, 1905 Joseph S. Ball, a Pacific Coast pioneer of 1847, died at his home in Klamath Falls last Friday night at the age of 76. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon. The deceased was a native of Boston, Mass., and came to the Pacific Coast in 1847. He came to Klamath County over 20 years ago. He had not been in good health for some time, but the immediate cause of his death was pneumonia. The deceased is survived by his wife and four children, two boys and two girls. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- October 27, 1930 Klamath Falls, Oregon Joseph Stephen Ball, one of the most prominent middle aged Indians on the Klamath Reservation, passed away at Klamath Agency Sunday night at 9:30 following an illness of one week. He was born in Fort Klamath and aged 46 years at the time of his death. Mr. Ball graduated from the Carlyle University where he was one of the most outstanding athletes. He participated in baseball and other games. Following his graduation he established his home in Modoc Point. He is survived by his wife, Victoria Ball, three daughters: Ada, Ramona and Margaret, two sons, Joseph, Jr., and Woodrow and one brother, Edward F. of Chiloquin and a sister, Mrs. Laura Witt of Modoc Point. ++++++++++ October 27, 1930 Klamath Falls, Oregon Joseph Stephen Ball, prominent and well known resident of Klamath County, passed away at Klamath Agency Sunday night at 9:30 o'clock, following an illness of one week. He was born in Fort Klamath August 4, 1884, and was aged 46 years, two months and 12 days at the time of death. He is survived by his wife, Victoria; daughters, Ada, Ramona and Margaret; sons, Joseph, Jr., and Woodrow; one brother, Edward F. of Chiloquin; and a sister, Mrs. Laura Witt of Modoc Point.
