Hi My name is Sandy Pratt and I have collected obits, etc., for years from the Klamath Falls papers, and some info from other public records sources.(I try to stick strictly to the local American Indian families and if they have white relatives and I know who they are I include them)...I have been posting this information to the Klamath Rootsweb mailing list at ORKLAMATH-L@rootsweb.com Let me know if you need me to help you learn how to search the lists archives...I can send you the links...I only had one obit for Parkhurst and I put it on not too long ago...and then yesterday I put on the federal register listing for Hull...I will see what else I can find...I have nothing on the other names you listed..     3. Doing research on patriots and war heroes from my hometown in California. One pilot was killed in an air collison near the Klamath naval air station in February 1944. The news item starts on the front page of the February 28, 1944, issue of the Klamath Falls Herald and News and then continues on page three. The article is in the center "gutter" of page three and is unreadable. Looking for someone who can transcribe the conclusion on page three from the actual newspaper. Thanks. Gene H. While in Palo Alto they drove out to the Army Air base at Moffett Field. Vard McNair accompanied them home, and on their way they stopped over at San Francisco and attended the World's Fair on Treasure Island.     3. Herald and News August 28, 1975 Toppenish, Wash., - Reginald Sargeant Jr., 32, died Saturday in Yakima, Wash. He was the nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Dibbon Cook with whom he had lived for a time while attending Chiloquin schools. He was born Dec. 12, 1943, in Toppenish and had served with the Army in Vietnam. He also was a member of the National Guard. Other survivors include his widow, Donna; daughters, Athena and Vilene; and son, Christopher, all of Toppenish; sisters, Cynthia McWilliams and Susan Sargeant, both of Klamath Falls; numerous nephews and nieces and other relatives in the Yakima Tribe. The funeral dressing service was held Monday at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with further services at Toppenish Community Center.
