True, there have been a few folks I have run into who have a legit first name Conard. And they are not necessarily descendants of Thones Kunders, for 1. They may be named for a friend or neighbor 2. Someone thought it cute or unique 3. They may be kin to a non-Kunders CONARD family 4. It might be an accepted corruption of the name CONRAD Naming is a personal thing. I have run into folks with the given name Conard who have no clue why they got it. Sorry, troops, no answer on this one!
