>From John Updegraff Am looking for Peter Updegroff's parents. Peter was married to Rebeccia Sampsell, 3 Children Susan, Daniel, and Mary. Peter was born about 1805, Rebeccia about 1807, Susan 1830, Daniel 1834, and Mary about 1837. They are found in the 1850 censuss, Lycoming county, Washington township. Peter and Rebeccia are shown in the censuss and 2 entries down the 3 children are shown in Mis Hamilton's household. Peter was a shoe maker by trade. and during the Civil War Daniel served in the Penna. 137th Volinteer Infantry and when discharged held the rank of 1st Seargent. I have found this information in the censuss, historical sociaties, books and grave yard records and head stones. And the internment records show Peter and Rebeccia as being Daniel's parents and am trying to find Information on Peter and Rebeccia.
