I went to the link and checked out Blaker, and I couldn't find the name, no matter how I searched it -- Blaker or Bleicker, on the list of names or in the search box. Any suggestions? I went thru them all and got some very goog hits on the Blaker family, Many Thanks, John ______________________________
Maureen, I checked on the surname lists for adoption http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/adoptable/B.html and the names were not there and I checked on John Fuller's site and there is a BLACKER List but there is not a BLEICKER list. You can start one if you wish. Let me know and I will show you how. If there is not a mailing list then there is not an archives. I went to the archives and typed in BLACKER and there are a few messages. To use the Archives --- Click on the URL http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ Type "Original-13" in search box, without the Quotes or Select O then go to Origionall-13 You will then be given a list of each months Archives of all activity on the Origional-13 List --- At this point you have to open each months archive, one at a time, use the Browser FIND to search that months message titles and then open that message. --- There is a lot of good stuff there, other than a specific Name, so be prepared for an evening of reading. enjoy, John
