Hi Linda Kyle, We also are likely some sort of kin through the Op Den Graeffs (Uptegroves, Updengrove, Upthegrove, etc.). Hope you enjoy this list. As Eric said, "Hang on for a fun ride", and welcome to this list. Martha
Thank you, too, Martha!! I am excited about being on this list. I have wanted to get on here for over a year, now. I think I may have been on here about 2 or more years or so ago, but have been so busy and still am, but have decided I will work this into my schedule because as you all know, history IS addicting!! :-D Linda MLATCLEM@aol.com wrote: > Hi Linda Kyle, > > We also are likely some sort of kin through the Op Den Graeffs (Uptegroves, > Updengrove, Upthegrove, etc.). Hi, Linda! Well, this sounds great "The fun Ride" hope you read my two posts so far on this list. Maybe, some of you might be able to clear up some mysteries of my early Mayberry's. I have lost track of my connection since Justinian & Mary Ann Houser of Frederick, Maryland. Justinian died in Aug 20, 1834. Mary Ann died sometime later her will was probated on June 4, 1855 and was filed at Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland Court House she named Israel Mayberry as their son born Dec 10, 1794. I thought at first my connection was through George Mayberry & Rebecca Pennybacker. I just recently found the Israel Mayberry connection beyond any doubt. As I was first a little skeptical, but now I have it in stone (as the saying goes). At first I was relying on the age factor and relatives naming pattern. I still think there is a real close connection. So I will be on the look-out for that too... Let me know if you see anything that might give a clue. Thanks, Frank Mayberry in Muskogee, Ok ----- Original Message ----- From: <MLATCLEM@aol.com> To: <ORIGINAL-13-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, February 23, 2003 4:49 PM Subject: Re: [ORIGINAL-13] The Palatinate | Hi Linda Kyle, | | We also are likely some sort of kin through the Op Den Graeffs (Uptegroves, | Updengrove, Upthegrove, etc.).
