Hi, Erik! I just posted a query about the Updegraff/Updegraeff awhile ago this date. Hope you can read it and help me out in my search for the parents of Justinian Mayberry who was a relative of the UpDeGraff's of Frederick Maryland. His grandson (father was my ggggrandfather Israel Mayberry) Peter J. Mayberry died in 1902 and was buried in Rose Hill at Hagerstown. The pall bearers of Peter two of which were cousins named as George F. Updegraff and Ed M. Updegraff (probably bros). Several years ago I thought I was related through the Pennybackers thru the De Havens since George Pennybacker's wife was Rebecca Dehaven but, later found that Justinian Mayberry was Israel Mayberry's father due to being named as a son of Mary Ann Houser wife of Justinian Mayberry. Her will stated that Israel Mayberry was their son and several others. Who married Rutters, Potts, Mobley, and Jolley surnames that their ancestors were involved in the Iron Manufactoring business and were more than likely related to Thomas Mayberry "(The Iron Master)".
