You might want to consider unsubscribing from the list while you are gone and then resubscribing when you return. The easiest way to do this is by using Password Central. http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ Follow the instructions and you will receive a e-mail list of all Rootsweb Mailing Lists you belong to. You can unsubscribe using this e-mail. Save it and you then have a list of mailing lists you want to re-subscribe to. When you return, you can check the Archives for this list at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ Just type in the name of the list and you can check the messages for the dates you were gone. The following was shared with me and I think it is one of the best Maps I have seen showing the growth and history of the United States. http://www.animatedatlas.com/movie.html I appreciate each of you and know that it is because of you our list is the success it is. Here is some more that I know about Rebecca Pawling who I believe is the same Rebecca Pawling that was listed on the 1850 and 1860 Census of Hampshire Co., Va(WV). Rebecca was living with Susan Taylor and her family. Susan Taylor is (I believe) named Susan Hass (not sure just guessing). I saw somewhere that a Susan Hass or maybe Stump was married to a Taylor. My ggrandpa Francis (aka Frank who me and my dad are named after) was also living in Susan Taylor's household. Apparently, her husband (Taylor) had passed on. There was also, a Rebecca Poling/Pawling living there and later on the 1860 Census she was living in the household of Mary Mayberry Smith wife of Capt Abraham Smith who was killed at the Spotsylvania Court House in 1864. Mary Mayberry was the daughter of my gggrandpa Israel & Catherine Hass Mayberry of Romney, Hampshire Co., Va(WV). I am searching for the date of death and place of burial of both Israel and Catherine my gggrandparents. Justinian Mayberry & Mary Ann Houser of Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland were Israel's parents. I have lots of information on my direct line up to Justinian and Mary Ann Houser who were married at Frederick, Md in 1791. I lost track of the line with Justinian I am looking for his parents, who I think might tie into the connection to George Mayberry who I initally thought was the father of Israel until I found the Will made by Mary Ann Houser Mayberry who named him as her son born on 9May1794 at Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland. If you have any information or a webpage with the information of more members of this family please let me know. Thanks, Frank R. Mayberry in Muskogee, Ok P.S. I am in the process of trying to correct the error that I have on my ggggrandparents, right now it shows George Mayberry & Rebecca Pennybacker which is an error now that I know that Justinian and Mary Ann are the right parents. Thanks, for any help and please keep in contact.
