I am trying to verify family stories that Thomas Harvey Lukens (1828-1895), son of Clayton Alan Lukens and Esther Peterman, is the father of Thomas Harvey Lukens who was born to Elizabeth Major in 1851, in Montgomery County, PA. Thomas H. (b. 1828) married Mary Ann Hagy in 1853 in Chestnut Hill, and they had 5 children. (pg. 282 in Jill Hurd's "Ancestors and Descendants of Jan Lucken") I can find no birth record for Thomas H. (b.1851) nor a marriage record for Elizabeth Major and Thomas. Thomas' birth record of 1828 can be found in Plymouth Mtg. Records. They all most likely lived in Montgomery Co. PA. Does anyone have any additional information on either Thomas Harvey Lukens or suggestions where I might search? Thanks, Beverly McNally
