I think I have seen more than one post on Surname: ZIMMERMAN over the past years, posted here. I never had any ZIMMERMAN, so I basically stayed out of any discussions on that name. Now, it turns out, that a family member seeks such a name going back to Baden-Baden Germany. I do not know if it connects at all to the 13.
