Hi All! This is Repitisious spelled that wrong.. But Mr Stackhouse, and Eric C. and Also Vince, have VALUABLE skills and have been patient enough to teach me things that i am slow at learning... And they are Great Assets to all of us.. Although I have been doing this , MOSTLY on Paper... I will NEVER EVER Know it ALL.. I am Familiar with Old World naming Patterns, Also about How to Read and Pronounce Names, and EVERYTHING was so Correct, Eric and Gene Said about, How many different was WRITTEN WORDS, and SPOKEN words have Been SOOO often not EXACT.. but too many people I KNOW are dismissing the thought of a SPELLING change or even Old historical records, that like Eric said are INCORRECT. anyone on this list has been to my page, or read a Query I post.. I think it is KEY FOR Everyone who REALLY cares about Genealogy and not filling a Software program, from books and things.. Like I have on my page and emails, and many other's who do work Genealogy " by the Book " if you will, understand, that ANYTHING Online, on LDS Pages, and on any record you Glean information from... IT is up to the Person doing thier own Research to VERIFY the information.. Yes, the old Fashioned way.. By hand and paper and stamps.. A Great Example that Deals Directly with this group is Jill Hurd's Work and BOOK on the Luckens Family.. but there where errors due to many different reasons, but that IN NO WAY makes Jill uncredible.. If you REALLY want to Be in Genealogy, and I guess even at my age, Eric reffering to Youngsters are all knowing the fact that you can not Create a line because someone has the same name, and you would Presumme maybe the date is wrong.. With all the Maria Magdalena's, Elizebeths, Johans ect... They are EVERYWHERE, In hundreds of years of paper work, just because the name may match, Does NOT mean it is the same person.. Another thing that was not said is, a child being born.... sometimes died after they where given a name, and there may be no Death date for Baby 1 but then you see another child with the same name.. IS EITHER HUMAN ERROR from working on software, But the parents almost always named the next child of that sex, the SAME NAME as Baby1... Exact Reason why once you have information... YOU HAVE to back it up with Proof YOURSELF..
