I am seeking to find someone who knows both German and old German fairly well, preferrably someone living in Germany, who might be willing to start a site to Satellite my email list, The Original 13 Settlers of Germantown (Pennsylvania). Many on your list may be qualified, and someone might wish to spearhead this endeavor. The person would, logically, want to know English, too. We are interested in what happened on both sides of the Atlantic, for at least a few decades time window, when, in October of 1683, 13 families, and some other families, left for Pennsylvania, 13 stopping at what came to be called Germantown, Pennsylvania. There is a stamp commemorating this event. Not that we are trying to create superheroes here, but we are interested in the events that took place, and the effects of it all. Also, our family lines and the connections involved. It would really boost things if work on both sides were ongoing, with communication between the two groups.
