Hi all, Due to a coincidence of events, I have begun to look at my Germantown ancestors. I hoped there would be an email list for that; so was glad to find this one. I have been lurking for awhile and reading the old messages that Vince as been zipping. For the past 2 years,I have been participating in the Dutch-Colonies list; so seeing names such as Thones, Leentje, Dirk, Greitjen, Aert, and Theissen makes me feel right at home. Below, I show a brief ahnentafel chart to show the people I am interested in. It was compiled from secondary sources and second-hand info. The most recent secondary source being: _Higgins Ancestors_ by Richard and Kathryn Hott, 1985. I have 2 questions (for now): 1) Where can I find primary sources to (hopefully) substantiate what I show below? Either printed books or LDS microfilm. In Edward Hocker's book on Germantown, I read that the Germantown Quakers were part of the Abington monthly meeting. I see that the LDS has microfilm of those records, #0383428. Is that a good film for what I want?
