If anyone has this book, or has family in these lines, and would like to purchase a copy of this book, perhaps even for the purpose of doing lookups, it would be great. At any rate, here is the post from that site: By Sherri Isgar The following is taken from the book "Memorial of Thomas Potts, Jr., 1874" By Mrs. Thomas Potts James (published in 1874) on the Keurlis family.... "At a monthly meeting, held the 20th of 8th mo., 1699, whereas Thomas Potts and Martha Courlin (Keurlis seems to have been the German orthography), having declared their intention of marriage with each other before two monthly meetings, inquiry being made by persons appointed and found clear from all others on account of marriage, did accomplish their marriage in the unity of Friends, as is signified by thier marriage certificate". Martha was the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Keurlis, and had come from Germany with her parents, in company with Pastorius, 16 years before. An allotment of land was made to Peter Keurlis in the laying out of Germantown, and his name appears frequently in the early records as one of the original householders. ..." I will invite Sherri to join us! Vince Summers
