I'm still trying to definitely prove my Updegrove/Op den Graef descent from Abraham. I have found several lineages on the sites, and while they seem to show the descent, I still need to prove that my John Updegraff of 1850 York Co, PA is the son John H. of Peter Updegraff. Please, anyone with records on the York Co PA Updegraffs/Updegroves, please contact me. As for a map of my line, it stayed in York Co until the last Updegrove of my line, Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Updegrove married Collin E. McCurdy and they lived in Maytown, Lancaster Co, PA and later in Evansville, IN where Collin worked for the American Tobacco Company. After he retired, they went to live with their only child, my maternal grandmother Helen Marguerite McCurdy (m to Thomas Timmons Moss) in Frankfort, KY. There they died. My mother, an only child, still makes her home in Frankfort. My brother and sister live in FL and I am in NC. How's that for not moving much until the present generation?
