Hi, folks, I was very fortunate in being contacted by Mary Deaves, and receiving a xeroxed cover and some data out of the prayer book of Abraham LUKENS MDCCLIV. The information is listed as Courtesy of Tacy Blake. Now this is not copyright material, I feel sure. And I do not think I am stepping on anyones toes (I do hope not! I am sorry if I am...) by having scanned this information, and put it for download, in zip format, to: http://www.cv.nrao.edu/~vsummers/myfiles/ The zipped file is listed at 896 Kilobytes. This is just a little less than a megabyte, and may take a number of minutes to download. It has the cover of the book, the two pages (script) of the book with data, and two sheets of typed transcription of the information. Please note that the expression TRUE DATE is used in one spot. Since this prayer book is dated 1754, I am in the belief that it may be just a bit hard to interpret what is meant here. Perhaps some will comment on this. It would be especially beneficial if someone who is likely to be in a position to actually *know*, would comment. Of course all comments are welcome, especially if you have reason to think you may have a particularly valid perspective, even though not being positive.
