    3. Folks, I hope you are taking this heat well!... Many, or rather, most, of you are aware that Abraham TUNES was one of the 13 settling family heads of Germantown, Pennsylvania. His family line became, among other things, TUNIS. Apparently TENNIS, DENNIS, etc., are also eventual derivations of this name. TUNIS -- One of these (bear with me on this one, as my data is on my HP computer, in Texas, having a modem/sound card replacement performed), I think her name was Kathryn, married a KITE (of whatever spelling). Now another of the KITE line married (and I get a little fuzzy here), I believe, a WARNER. I hope I am not confused on this. I do have PETERS, also, but think it was a WARNER... They are both in my line... Does anyone have other connections to this particular WARNER line, and hence have information on these WARNERs? I know -- first I ask you to identify *my* line, and then ask you to continue it -- a bit unreasonable -- but my curiosity is itching, and am taking the liberty. I believe the name is William WARNER, and had a daughter Mary??? At any rate, in a day or two, I expect to have my computer back, and can then use the data. If anyone recognizes these lines, I would love to hear more on WARNER, PETERS, KITE/KEYTE/KEITE, and TUNIS. BTW, my former boss, an Englishman at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, was surprised I have the name KEYTE. His own mom was a KEYTE -- IS a KEYTE, in England. She says they pronounce it, over there KEET!!! Was this the case here? Does anybody know? Was it originally KEET (pronunciation)?
