Hello: Seeking the names of those living in the area of Hopewell Twp and surrounding Cumberland County mid 1700's. Our Ancestor, Hugh Brady (born 1709) and wife Hannah, and family were living there then. The Brady Family Heritage Association is trying to locate descendants of those early residents of Cumberland County for a gathering of reunions in Cumberland County. The Bradys just had a reunion last week in Shippensburg (the first in over 23 years) and we had over 200 in attendance. Our next reunion, "Christmas at the Homestead", a summer celebration of pioneer Christmas traditions, will be held in 2-3 years. Hugh and Hannah would have invited their neighbors over for the celebration. We are inviting all descendants of those early families to join us in honoring your proud heritage and ours. The Bradys would like descendants of other families of the same time period to have their reunions at the same time. Timeline is: 2-3 years down the road - date will be confirmed within 2 months from now. Some of those families are: Young, Hanna, Craig, Carnahan, Irvine, Ferguson, Herron, Quigley . . . .and ? We are trying to find the names of heads of household or landowners before the Revolution. Come and join with us. Come home with your families. Let's have a weekend together sharing the history and fellowship that bound them together so many years ago. We will have Revolutionary War Re-enactors (the best group you will ever see), a bagpiper, etc. Lots of genealogy, history, etc. Whether or not your family has an organization, all are welcome. Please contact me for further. Each family living in Cumberland County during that time period should be represented. Help is needed in identifying the families of that time period. If your ancestor lived in Cumberland County, PA between 1730 and 1776, please contact us. Don't be left out - here is a wonderful opportunity to journey back home. Let us hear from you! Your ancestors are counting on you! Donna Cuillard Brady Family Heritage Association

I have found the subject title by Benjamin Franklin Zell referenced in a couple of on-line family trees. The LDS Family History Library hasn't a copy in its catalog. Is anyone out there familiar with the publication and who knows where a copy may be located? He would be my first cousin 3X removed. Marilyn

This was meant for the list. Here it is: Vince: My husband descends from an early Philadelphia Warner line. They arrived before William Penn, abt 1670, and were part of the Swedish settlement. Here is what I have: "Elizabeth Warner (born about 1714) was a daughter of Swen Warner and Ester Warner (his first cousin, of Radnor MM), and a granddaughter of William and Christian Warner of Gloucester County, NJ. This grandmother, Christian or Christina, is thought to be a daughter of Svann Skuuta (Lieutenant Sven Schute) who received from Queen Christina of Sweden, August 20, 1653, the first grant of lands now forming part of the City of Philadelphia. Sven, 1688-1761, and Ester, 1686-1740, Warner are buried in Philadelphia. Sven is buried at Friends Burying Ground, and Elizabeth in the Friends ground on Race Street.* Elizabeth had two known brothers, Isaiah, who died 1716, and Joseph, who died 1780. Elizabeth Warner married Philip Syng, Jr. about 1730 at Christ Church. They had eighteen children." *Don't know if these burial grounds are one and the same. Kathy Kelly

Dear Folks, I never thought of this... Some of you may be surprised to know that there was more than one Germantown. The one of this list is Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. I never thought to mention this when inviting others. I am sorry for any confusion. As for WARNER -- there appear to be at least two Philadelphia lines. One is connected to KITE (and likely in other ways) which connects to TUNIS (Abraham Tunes line). The other one, apparently equally well-known, (though I am not familiar with it) may not be connected to it at all, or if it is, it may be in a "distant" manner. Would anyone on the list know about this, who could clarify this for us? Thanks, Vince
Hi Judy and Mark, I too am just starting with my Eastern Shore families which include WARNERs..Hooper Woolman WARNER lived in Easton,Talbot Co about 1860- 1919. Married Martha Rebecca ROE and had 18 children. Mattie's family has 1719 official data. The Warners two brothers may have been Torries who "escaped" to Canada and ended in California, Warner Bros. Haven't documented that one yet. Other surnames are HACKETT, HOOPER, WOOLMAN Hope we find something . Any photographs to share? The Swan Knights are descendents of the 12 tribes of Israel, descendents of Jacob, who were the "Hebrew slaves" lead out of Egypt by Moses. They were the guardians of the Ark Of The Covenant which housed the emerald tablets of Hermes (a/k/a Thoth) which were the exoteric laws (the 10 commandments) and the esoteric laws (the laws of the adepts, the alchemical laws of transformation of spirit and matter). The original temple of the Ark was at Aswan in Egypt. After migration to Canaan, the 12 tribes established Israel and Judeaism and constructed the Temple of Solomon to house the Ark. Once the Babylonians found out about the Ark, they invaded to capture it. Consequently the "Swan Knights" fled with the Ark into Gaul and also the Celtic islands that became known as The Land Of The Covenant ("Britain"). The Swan itself represents activation of the pineal gland in the brain (remember in the old testament Jacob wrestles with an angel in a place called 'pineal'). The two wings of the swan represent the two lobes of the brain integrated via pineal secretion into the pituitary (the lapis elixir) which produces coagulation of the "stone" or philosopher's stone of alchemy which is also represented by the perfect grace and pure white beauty of the swan. The stone is the transfiguration of the body and spirit. Anyway, Baldric of France was a swan knight or original temple knight and chivalric monk on the alchemical path chivalry to a higher state of conciousness. He accompanied William as he conquered Britain in the eleventh century and carried the name Lindsay into England and Scotland. The swan is featured on the Lindsay crest rising from a crown on a blue field. Many Lindsays in the history of Scotland were alchemical adepts studying the path of "thrice great Hermes". Disney's castle of "Sleeping Beauty" was modeled on the Neuschwanstein Castle (new stone of the swan-- referencing the swan as symbol of the philosopher's stone in alchemy). Lohengrin came from the same tradition as Baldric and in the poem did achieve remarkable results in his chivalric path to reaching the Holy Grail (coagulation of the stone or higher state of conciousness). By the time the Rhine Grail castles were being built, it was very much something in vogue to attach yourself to that legendary lineage of the Swan Knights of the Holy Graal and gave any royal house an edge in claiming title and position. The swan knights of the temple had transformed themselves into banking houses, Switzerland and the Rotheschild type families to hide from persecution by then. No doubt the windows have many secrets in them including much information on the messianic knowledge the swan knights protected. -Stephen Lindsey

Below are a few Pennsylvania Wills I have collected, and are thought to be correct? I hope someone can help me in the fact that some of the persons mentioned, are believed to be the same as the group speak of. I know that Henry Tibben my fifth great grandfather, held two hundred acres of land in a tract called "Sommerhausen," in 1702. I do not believe him to be one of the Original 13, but he most definitely was living among these folks. If anyone might put some light on my quest, or tell me were I might write, or search for information, It would be very appreciated. I need to find were and when Hendrick came to this country? Thanks Folks and keep up the great work. Greetings Tom Tibben Pennsylvania Wills 1682 to 1834 Friends HENRY TIBBEN, Maricke daughter of Arnold van Vossen.
