Services were held Thursday afternoon of this week at the Anderson Funeral Home by Dr. R. A. Hutchinson for Ida Olivia Perry, 1303 Taylor street, who passed away April 12 at Hood River Community hospital. Interment was at Idlewilde cemetery. Ida Olivia Perry was born on May 6, 1865, at York, Pa. She came to Hood River Valley 52 years ago with her husband [W. V. Perry] who preceeded her in death. Survivors include a son, Ralph Perry, Hood River; daughters, Mrs. Mae Jackson, Mrs. Grace Paasch and Mrs. Stella Drake, all Hood River, and Mrs. Nellie Wells, Bend; a brother, William Hengst, now living in Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Ann King, Hood River; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. [Note: Another son, Homer Edgar Perry, died in 1919].
