Published by The Dalles High School Students, June edition, page 37 WAR DEPARTMENT GUY ELTON Guy Elton, who will be remembered as a foot ball star of the famous team of 1915-16, returned to his home here May 19. Guy enlisted in the old "Third Oregon" shortly after war was declared, and went overseas, December 11, 1917, and was stationed near Winchester, England, until his return to the United States the last of April, 1919.
