Surnames: Tolleson, Woods, Parker, Symons, Rose, Barnes, Carlos, Kannier Audrey P. Tolleson, 84, a resident of Mosier (Oregon), died on Friday, September 27, 2002, at the local hospital. She was born May 19, 1918 in Anniston, Alabama to Lawrence and Leila (Woods) Parker. She married George William (Bill) Tolleson in 1937. They moved to Oregon in 1957 where the family resided in Pilot Rock, Dale and Salem until moving to Mosier in 1981. She enjoyed painting, sewing, bridge and golf among many other interests and enjoyed entertaining friends and family. Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Symons, Pendleton (Oregon), and Sandra Rose, Redmond (Oregon); seven grandchildren, Charles, Dean and Mindy Barnes, Eric and LaChell Carlos, Kurt Symons and Les Kannier; and eight great grandchildren. Her husband died on March 11, 2001. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, at 11 a.m. at Anderson's Tribute Center. Visitation will be held there Tuesday, October 1, from 4 until 7 p.m. Vault interment will be at Mosier Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Mosier Grange. Memorial contribution may be made to Celilo Cancer Center (The Dalles) or the Arts Council of Pendleton, sent in care of Anderson's Tribute Center, 1401 Belmont, Hood River, Oregon 97031.
