    3. Surnames: Hull, McCray, Baker, Kendall Ruby Baker Hull, 83, a resident of The Dalles, died at the local hospital on Monday, March 4, 2002. She was born December 15, 1918, in Bernice, Oklahoma, the youngest of four children to George W. and Eula (McCray) Baker. At age two, she moved with her family to Odell (Oregon) and later graduated from Odell High School. She married Burton S. Hull on July 6, 1939, in Hood River (Oregon). The couple lived in Hood River for a short time, then moved to Spokane (Washington) during World War II. They moved back to Hood River after the war and settled in Tygh Valley (Oregon) in 1953. They moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1969, where she worked in K-Mart customer relations. They moved to Portland in 1972 and she continued with K-Mart until her husband died in April 1986 and she then moved to The Dalles. She was a member of the Mid-Columbia Senior Center and enjoyed playing cards, pinochle, traveling and reading. She is survived by her son, Larry Hull and his wife, Sharon, Tygh Valley; her grandchildren, Kendyl Hull, Maupin (Oregon) and Kraig Hull, Government Camp (Oregon); her sister, Ruth Kendall, Shedd (Oregon) and her brother, Louis Baker, Sequim, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Jesse. Funeral services will be held at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 11. Private cremation will be at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory. Memorials may be made to Southern Wasco County Ambulance, P.O. Box 125, Maupin, Oregon 97037.
