He resided at Waldport at the time of his death. Born in Enid, Okla., on May 22, 1907, he had lived in Waldport for 10 years since his retirement in 1968. Before that time he had been with Hanel’s as a sawmill superintendent. Survivors include his wife, Velma, a daughter, Benetta McKinley of Waldport, a step-brother, Farley Minor of Bandon; and one grand child. Services were on April 1 at the Bateman Funeral home in Waldport; burial was in the IOOF cemetery in Bandon. This was posted for reference only. I am not related to, nor am I researching this family.
