JENNIE BERRY Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Berry, 69, a native of Columbus, O., were held at Riverside church Monday, the Rev. Louis White officiating, with interment at Idlewilde. Many of the older residents were at the funeral services to pay their respects to a former long–time resident of the west side. Mrs. Berry had lived the past two years in Long Beach, Calif., and is survived by her son, Arnold Berry, of Long Beach; a brother in Chicago and a sister, Mrs. Ann Fisher, Vancouver, B.C. ---------------------------------------- The Hood River County Sun, Hood River, OR., January 4, 1939, page 6 “Death Overtakes Local Residents” MRS. JEANNIE BERRY Funeral services were held Monday at the Riverside Church for Mrs. Jennie Berry, who died December 29. Until two years ago, when she moved to Portland, she had lived in Hood River for 22 years. She was born in 1869 in Ohio. Rev. Louis E. White conducted the service, and interment was at Idlewilde. Survivors are: a son, Arnold, Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Evan Evans, Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. Ann Fisher, Vancouver, B.C. This was posted for reference only.
