She was 72. Mrs. Sparks was born May 23, 1905, at Halfway, Ore., to Mr. and Mrs. William Bennehoff. She married George A. Sparks at La Grande, Ore., on Nov. 4, 1925. Surviving are her husband, George; two daughters, Georgia Lucas of Hood River and Salina Lawson of The Dalles; a brother, Virl Bennehoff of San Francisco; two grandsons and one great-grandson. Funeral was Tuesday, April 11, at 2:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Idlewild Cemetery. Friends who wish may give in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
