The Dalles Chronicle, February 13, 2003, Front page HOMICIDE VICTIM FOUND by Rodger Nichols A 52-year-old Hood River (Oregon) man, Faustine Garcia Garcia, was found dead early Wednesday in Hood River, the victim of an apparent gunshot wound, according to Hood River County District Attorney John Sewell. Sewell said Garcia's death was being treated as a homicide. Hood River City Police Department is investigating, assisted by the Oregon State Police and Hood River County Sheriff's office. No suspect had been taken into custody as of this morning, and further details were not being released. An autopsy was scheduled today.
