At the current time, various records from many counties, including Hood River, are online, but rarely will you find ALL marriage or other records of a particular county. However, just because the records aren't online doesn't mean the archives doesn't have them. You can email the archives and ask them to search for you, and if they find the record they will mail it to you for $ .25 per page plus postage. It's really a great deal, and they're very speedy. Before you make your request, check out the websites they have for information on any restrictions, such as no more than two names per request, legally restricted records, etc. The web site at http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/vital.html will give you that information.
