Youngquist in Goldendale, Washington. He was born at Marshalltown, Iowa, Nov. 20, 1874 and was married to May E. Spellman, June 19, 1905 at Sterling, Colorado. Mrs. Chindlund died Aug. 3, 1936. No children were born to this union. Mr. Chindlund moved to Hood River, Oregon, in 1916 where he has made his home since. He was in the hotel business for many years before going into business at Shady Oaks. He leaves to mourn his passing three brothers and four sisters: J.H. Chindlund and E.L. Chindlund, Storm Lake, Iowa; E.A. Chindlund, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. C.P. Corneliussen, Alta, Iowa; Mrs. F. Lunbeck, Valparaiso, Indiana; Mrs. F.G. Spencer, Chicago, Illinois and Mrs. A.R.
