Andrews had passed away, after an illness lasting about a year. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Asbury Church, Rev. B. Hamrick officiating, and interment made at Idlewilde, the funeral being directed by S.C. Bartmess. Mr. Andrews was 65 years old. W.F. Andrews, who will be remembered by many for his kindly disposition, suffered a stroke of a paralysis a year ago, and while there was a partial recovery, he never regained his former good health. He was born in Illinois, and was for many years in engineer on the Northern Pacific Railroad and for 25 years operated trains in Minnesota. In 1909 he took up a ranch in the Oak Grove district, and four years ago, retired to town to live. He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Geo. Gladden, of White Salmon. ------------------------------------ The Hood River News, Hood River, OR., February 12, 1924, page 7 "Oak Grove News" Neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. W.F.
