Hood River was a precinct in Wasco County until Hood River County was established in 1904. In the 1880 census images, Hood River was in Enumeration District 122 on pages 13-20. There was no Berry surname in the Hood River precinct in 1880. Do you have any other information that might suggest some place else? Wasco county's major city then was "The Dalles".
