A reader asked where I have my website to archive the Polk's City Directory information. I thought others might find the answer useful. ANSWER: I do not have a website. I take photocopies of the actual book and then input the information into the ORWASCO-L@rootsweb.com mail list (or the OREGON-L; ORHOODRI-L; ORSHERMA-L mail lists that you receive the information on). As you know I am inputting them in stages due to the amount of typing involved. The only archives I would have is found in their program http://archiver@rootsweb.com Enter the name ORWASCO; OREGON; ORHOODRI or ORSHERMA in the inquiry box and click on submit. By clicking on a particular year and month, a list of the submitted items have links to view them. The older items are at the top of the page and the recent items are at the bottom of the page. They are then listed by subject and submitter. Thanks to the reader for asking. Earline
