Surnames: Moore, Bailey, Camp, Norton, Smith, Willey, Gholston Neta Anna Moore, 92, a resident of Hood River, died at a care center in that city on February 1, 2002. She was born September 10, 1909, in Mosier (Oregon) to James and Ethel (Bailey) Camp. She grew up and attended school in Mosier. She married Joe Moore on December 6, 1930, in Mosier and shortly after moved to Hood River. She spent her life as a homemaker but she also helped with their 10 acre orchard. She was a lifetime member of Valley Christian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, gardening, canning, camping, fishing and baking for her family. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Norton and her husband, Bob, Mt.Hood (Oregon), Joanne Smith and her husband, Larry, The Dalles, Janet Willey and her husband, David, Clatskanie (Oregon); her son, Jim Moore, and his wife, Joyce, Briar, Washington; a sister, Margie Gholston, Mosier; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, after 58 years of marriage, and one brother and a sister. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, at 2 p.m. at the Valley Christian Church in Hood River.
