AMBROSE OSTRANDER Funeral services for Rev. Ambrose Ostrander, 85, native of New York, who died Monday night, were held yesterday at Asbury Methodist Church, Rev. S. Hamrick officiating. Interment followed at Idlewilde cemetery. C.C. Anderson directed the funeral. Mr. Ostrander, who retired from active ministry while in the Iowa conference, moved here with his wife 23 years ago. Mrs. Ostrander died last year. No known relatives survive. This was posted for reference only. I am not related to, nor am I researching this family.
