Hello listers....I was hoping to drive up from Ogden, Utah to Portand, driving along the beatiful Columbia River from Pendleton, and have watched your weather here on the internet. For the entire week, it shows RAIN...and yet I wonder, does that mean rain all the time? I have never been there and would like to drive in the sunshine...not minding a little evening rain. I was hoping to leave here no later than Thursday. Sould I wait until June or even later to be assured of some sunshine, or isn't your weather as drastic as they show on the US weather pages that I have seen? We were hoping to visit relatives in Portland to gather important information and wanted see the Hood River area along the Columbia on the way. If I'm advised to wait until later, I'll be disappointed, but I'd rather wait for better weather. Thanking you in advance. Barbara L.
