Derald and Phyllis (Dalleske) Mockler will be celebrating their 50th Wedding anniversary on Friday, July 4, 2003. Their daughters will be hosting an Open house for them from 1 to 4 p.m. at their home, 1414 -14th Street in Hood River (Oregon) and wish to invite friends in the community to join in the celebration. Derald and Phyllis were married at Riverside Church in Hood River. Best man was Derald's brother, Tom Mockler, and maid of honor was Jean Dalleske, sister of Phyllis. Derald was born and raised in Hood River and Phyllis has lived in Hood River from early childhood. Derald retired from the Hood River County Road Department and Phyllis retired from the Hood River County Juvenile Department. The couple is very involved in their four grandchildren and like to RV. They have two daughters, Jeannie French who lives in Kennewick (Washington) with Her husband and two children and Jennifer Ashley who lives in The Dalles with Her husband and two grown boys.
