Rice born in Smithfield, Jasper, Missouri 15 Apr 1891 to Thomas and Isoda Rice. His father Thomas died in 1930 Carl Junction, Jasper, Missouri and his mother died in 1895 Smithfield, Jasper, Missouri. Walter had the following siblings: William T.
