CLOUGH (b. 1832 Chardon, Geauga, Ohio; d. Mar 1901 Hood River, Oregon) and his second wife Jane ALEXANDER Hull (b. Jan 1824 Syracuse, Onondaga, NY; d. May 1908 Hood River, Oregon). Migrated from South Dakota and Kansas? via Clackamas County, Oregon to settle in Hood River between 1880 and 1900. Daniel served with the 9th Independent Battery of the Ohio Light Infantry in the Civil War and was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic, Canby Post #16. Both are buried in the Idlewild cemetery in Hood River. Their daughter Eva Jane CLOUGH Hershey, married to Alvin O. HERSHEY, is also buried in Idlewild Cemetery; daughters may have been Zelma HERSHEY, Leona P. HERSHEY Wetherell and Pearl HERSHEY Moore. Always happy to share information.
