Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Genealogical Forum of Oregon has scheduled an Heirloom Show on February 19, 1005. The location is secured, and the presenter, Harvey Stelle is on board, however, we do not have an Heirloom Show MANAGER. This popular event will be CANCELLED unless some person or persons step forward as Manager. That person must be enlisted by DECEMBER 1st. Here is what needs doing before the event: - Prepare and organize publicity for the Insider and GFO Website. -Send out press release notices to area newspapers. -Develop and distribute a flyer about the Heirloom Show. -Coordinate information about the heirlooms that are part of the show the with presenter, Harvey Steele. -On the day of the event, heirlooms need to be tagged and displayed. -Take notes during the event as Harvey Steele explains the heirloom value and gives estimates. -See that the heirlooms get back to the owner. Past Heirloom Shows have been fun for all who participated. So, listen up folks, someone needs to step up to the bar and take on the show management by December 1st.
