Hello all, THIS TIME, I hope to include all the pertinent information about the subject meeting in one message. Pat Burling's computer seems to have transmitted some of it's bugs to my brain. The monthly membership meeting of the Genealogical Forum of Oregon will be held this coming Saturday, October 9, 2004, in the Forum Library. The reading area of the library will close at 1:45 PM for setup. The membership meeting will start promptly at 2:00 PM. The monthly lecture will follow the short business meeting. Gerry Lenzen will present American Land Records as the monthly lecture. This will include a general introduction plus several case studies. There are studies from states both east and west of the Ohio River. This river divides the type of records to be found in states on either side of the river.
