As you probably know...if you¹ve looked at the calendar... This coming Saturday is Illinois Interest Day. After receiving two different ³warnings² that something else is happening in Portland, I decided that maybe we should see if anyone is planning to come to the IL INT group at the Forum. The plan for the day is a discussion on women who have made a difference in the history of Illinois...and sometimes in the history of the United States...or even in the world. One began a company that everyone would like represented in their home! We¹ll include some info too in where to begin looking for information about them, or any woman for whom you are searching. Lisa McCullough has agreed to be the guest leader for this interesting...even surprising...morning. __If you are planning to attend, please send me a note today__ (or asap). If we have people coming, it will be ON!~ (If we have no one who will attend, we¹ll cancel and know that you are taking advantage of the opportunity to be somewhere else that will also increase your genealogy skills.) We do hope your answer is yes, but know that other really good things are competing with us. Whichever you choose, you will have a productive day. Please answer as soon as possible. I¹ll be out of the house for a few hours...I thought I should pick up a few necessities as the weatherman says that, where I am, we will have from 8 to 10 inches of snow by tomorrow afternoon. So I¹m going to get in a few groceries before that happens!~ Thankfully the roads will be cleared before very long...but getting out of the yard will be a challenge! Kristy
