    3. Greetings! Although the July 27th meeting will be on chromosome browsing, do NOT download your raw data from Family Tree DNA until I give you notice that Build 37 is complete. If you tested at 23andMe, do download to an Excel file any new matches you have and combine them in one file. If you need to test more people, FTDNA will have a Father’s Day Sale and no doubt it will include Family Finder as well as the Y tests and probably some upgrades on the Y. These are my educated guesses. See you July 27th at the GFO Library from 10 to noon. Bring a laptop or put your files on a flash drive and commandeer a computer at the front of the room. Get there early to do this as the general patrons may need them and would tend to use the ones in the front. I will be willing to meet with any of you who have questions on the three types of tests (Y, atDNA and mtDNA) after noon on July 27 in the hall of the GFO library. BTW, I’ll be speaking at the Highland Games again this year, if any of you are going. It is always the basics of DNA testing. I’ve been asked to do a ½ day seminar on DNA in August at GFO. Sign up for it and me some topics you would like covered by the end of June. Thanks, Emily If you do not hear from me in a timely manner, just write again...I was buried in email.
