Greetings! Saturday is our DNA meeting regarding Chromosome Mapping and is from 10 to noon at the GFO Library. You need to have taken the Family Tree DNA Family Finder test or the test from 23andMe. The autosomal DNA test from AncestryDNA does not have the tools needed to map your chromosomes, but you can transfer your results to FTDNA for $89. Bring your laptop or arrive early to commandeer one at the front of the library. Before you arrive, download the handout from the GFO site at: http://gfo.org/intgrp/index.htm and become familiar with it. Good news: FTDNA has extended their sale prices to July 27th just for us. Those prices can be found on my blog, the 3rd email below my name. Directions for the library can be found at www.gfo.org The parking lot is open. The block on 11th in front of the building is currently two-way. See you there! Emily If you do not hear from me in a timely manner, just write again...I was buried in email.
