Remembering the big Snow of 1950 I remember the big snow in 1950 - I lived in the Columbia Gorge (Stevenson, WA.) with my parents and my 2 "Ugly" twin brothers. The snow had drifted so high we could climb on the roof of the house and the trains were frozen to the rail road train tracks. I have photos of that snow. I remember is was fun--but cold and lots of water when it thawed-the celler-basement flooded. Penny penelope
