Oh, my! Thanks so much for letting us know. Addie Dyal was my mentor when I first started in genealogy almost 40 years ago. My husband was going to school in CA and over the many months Addie and I would spend hours on the phone while she instructed me in the fine art of genealogical researching. I still have my little note books of addresses for obtaining vital records and dozens of suggestions. I was so happy for her when she found her soul-mate Stanton Rickey. A match made in heaven! Addie was an integral part of the Oregon Genealogical Society in Eugene for years and gave so much of her time and knowledge. Now the folks in Salem and Arizona benefit from her.
