Sometimes, they came in the form of an advertisement from the passengers commending the captain on a smooth voyage or the like (the ocean voyages). I know that transportation articles was one of the WPA projects done in Oregon, but I've never looked at it, so don't know exactly what it contains. Stephenie Flora's site <http://www.oregonpioneers.com/ortrail.htm> is probably the best for gathering info about emigrants, year by year. Other than that, I know of no "passenger" lists. Julie
