Thanks, Nathan and everyone else who wrote to me. I was hoping to find that the LDS had filmed the earliest Oregon death certificates and placed them in our local FHCs as they did with Washington's. It is so nice to be able to get an on-the-spot death certificate. It would also be very handy to be able to go to the LDS library for the marriage records of both states since my people at the turn of the previous century were getting married in both states.
