The November meeting of the Illinois Interest Group Will be Saturday November ‹17‹ because of the other meeting this Saturday. Duane Funk will be speaking about the War of 1812 and the Civil War. If you¹ve heard Duane before, you will know that it will be an interesting day. Just show up at GFO on the 17th at 9:30 a.m. There is a program out there to have the 1812 pension records put on line for researchers to use for free.
