    2. Virus's have changed in the last 10 years, they come into your computers via a different path than they did back then. Your software can only be updated AFTER a malicious program is found. There is an additional thing everyone needs to do, and that is never never (add more never's as needed) Never, Download and run any file from a stranger (& be wary of friends ID's, as ID's can be faked!). And while I'm mentioning it, stay away from unknown web sites (some of those nasty emails can point to one instead of attaching their malware).. Did you know you can get infected by a malicious web page? That's why you also should have malicious web site blocking software too.. Bob In a message dated 01/18/12 11:13:43 A.M. I kept getting pop up after pop up several times a day to download upgrades from Java and Adobe. I just kept closing them because I did not feel like I need upgrades from them. Finally about a month ago is when I got attacked by a virus. The computer guy told me why I got hit by this virus. He said those upgrades from Adobe and Java were critical upgrades. Some computer geek discovered that there were flaws in Adobe and Java’s programs that would allow you to bypass a computer’s security system. That is why they wanted you to upgrade your program. Finally some slime ball figured it out that, that is what those upgrades were for, figured out where the flaws were and then started sending out viruses to every computer on earth so the ones that did not decide to download those upgrades were vulnerable through those flaws in Adobe and Java which allows the virus to bypass their security and mess up their computer. That is what happened to me. I got hit with this virus and had to take it in to get it fixed. I don’t know if you were aware of this problem. If you aren’t and you have gotten a pop up to download Java and Adobe upgrades you better do it as fast as you can! Nathan
