Hello All, Once again it is time to accept nominations for membership to the Genealogical Forum of Oregon Board. There are two positions that require attention by the nominating committee. We are looking for anyone who has a desire to serve the GFO in either of these capacities. *President:* Overseas GFO activities, Presides over Monthly Board Meetings and Monthly Programs (membership meetings), writes a "President's Message for each /Forum Insider/ newsletter. Please contact Lyleth Winther, the present office holder to get a better understanding of the position responsibilities. If you need her phone number please contact me. *Secretary:* Writes up the minutes at Monthly Board Meetings plus the Annual Meeting (June), submits the minutes via e-mail to board members within a couple of days following the meetings for corrections or additions. And sends a reminder copy before the next meeting. Submits the approved minutes to the web master, Larry Sullivan. Writes up the short Bios of Nominees, submits a ballot page, which goes out with the May issue of the Insider. The ballot page consists of the positions and the respective candidates on one side with the bios of the candidates on the reverse.
